HP Reverb G2 vs HTC VIVE Pro

When you compare the HTC VIVE Pro to the HP Reverb G2 you can see which VR Headset is better. Let's take a look of the comparison, and see which model of VR Headset out ontop.

What VR Headset is better?

When it comes to choosing a VR headset, two of the most popular options on the market today are the HTC VIVE Pro and the HP Reverb G2. While both headsets offer some great features, there are some important differences between them that you should consider before making your decision.

In terms of design, the HTC VIVE Pro has an adjustable headstrap as well as padded foam cushions for added comfort during extended use. The display is also quite clear, with a 110-degree field of view and 1440 x 1600 pixel resolution providing excellent visual clarity. Additionally, its room-scale tracking allows for full six-degrees-of freedom motion control while playing games or using other applications. On the downside however, its minimum CPU requirement (Intel Core i5-4590) and graphics card requirement (Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060) may be too demanding for some users.

The HP Reverb G2 has a sleek design that makes it look more like a traditional pair of headphones than a bulky virtual reality headset. It features 114° field of view which provides impressive visuals in addition to 2160 x 2160 pixel resolution allowing you to see even more detail in what you’re viewing through it. Its room scale tracking is just as good as its competitor's and will still provide that smooth motion experience while playing games or using applications but it also requires higher specs: A minimum CPU requirement (Intel Core i5/i7 or Intel Xeon E3-1240 v5) and Graphics Card Requirement (Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080/AMD Radeon RX 5700).

In terms of performance both headsets deliver exceptional experiences with their high refresh rate – 90 Hz - giving them both extremely smooth movements when playing games or using applications in virtual reality environments. In my opinion after testing both I found that there wasn’t much difference between their performance in this regard and so this aspect would not make any real impact on my decision making process when considering which one to buy since they were nearly identical in performance in this area from my personal experience with them.

Overall, both headsets offer great features for virtual reality gaming and experiences; however if we compare all aspects mentioned above then I personally prefer the HP Reverb G2 because not only does it have better visuals with higher resolution screens but also looks more modern due to its sleeker design compared to its competitor's which might be important depending on how aesthetically conscious you are about these kinds of things! The main drawback is that the minimum requirements for this device are higher than those needed by HTC VIVE Pro – but if you have powerful enough hardware then HP Reverb G2 might be worth considering!
