Based on 2 reviews
Having used both the HTC VIVE Pro and FIBRUM PRO virtual reality headsets, I can confidently say that they both have their strong points and weaknesses.
The HTC VIVE Pro is a high-end PC VR system that offers great performance with room scale 360 tracking and a wide 110° field of view. It also has a higher resolution display than the FIBRUM PRO at 1440 × 1600 px which makes for an immersive experience when gaming or watching movies in VR. The downside to this headset is that it requires more powerful hardware than the Fibrum Pro due to its operating system compatibility of Mac OS, Microsoft Windows, as well as Intel Core i5-4590 CPU and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card minimum requirements; making it quite costly to purchase along with all the necessary hardware components.
On the other hand, we have the FIBRUM PRO which comes in at a much lower cost compared to the VIVE Pro but still offers an impressive 110° field of view and room scale 360 tracking capabilities. It’s compatible with Android & iOS operating systems so you don’t need any additional hardware or software installation. Unfortunately, its resolution isn't up there with that of the VIVE Pro's display so if you're after visuals alone then this might not be your ideal choice.
Having used both headsets myself I would personally go for the HTC VIVE Pro as I found it provides superior image quality which made my virtual reality experience more enjoyable despite its hefty price tag. On top of that, given its wider range of operating systems supported along with its faster refresh rate (90 Hz) compared to Fibrum Pro's smartphone-based refresh rate (75 Hz), makes me lean towards recommending it over FibrumPro - especially if you want superior visuals while gaming or watching videos in VR mode.
