When you compare the HTC VIVE Pro to the Roscosmos XR-2 you can see which VR Headset is better. Let's take a look of the comparison, and see which model of VR Headset out ontop.
Based on 2 reviews
When comparing the HTC VIVE Pro and Roscosmos XR-2, there are both pros and cons to each device. The first notable difference between these two headsets is the release date of the latter. The XR-2 is set to be released in the near future, whereas the VIVE Pro has already been available for a while now. In terms of features, they are quite similar - both support room scale tracking, 360 degree tracking, and have impressive refresh rates (90 Hz for VIVE Pro, 120 Hz for XR-2).
The field of view on each headset also differs significantly; 110 degrees on the VIVE Pro compared to 157 degrees on XR-2. This could be seen as a pro or con depending on preference; however it should be noted that more expansive views do come at a cost of resolution as well – 1440 x 1600 px for VIVE Pro versus 5760 x 2800 px on XR-2.
In terms of minimum specifications needed to run either headset, it's worth noting that while Intel Core i5-4590 CPU and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card are required with HTC VIVE Pro, no such requirements were specified by Roscosmos yet (as it hasn't been released yet).
From my personal experience with these two devices, I preferred using the Roscosmos XR-2 due to its wider field of view and higher resolution than what was offered by HTC VIVE Pro. That being said though I'd like to point out that this headset hasn't been released yet so we don't know how reliable it is in comparison just yet – but from what I've seen so far my expectations remain high!
