When it comes to virtual reality headsets, the HTC VIVE Pro and the YVR 2 offer two of the best experiences on the market. The VIVE Pro is a PC VR headset while YVR 2 is a standalone unit. Both products have room scale 360 tracking, along with a refresh rate of 90 Hz.

The main difference between these two units lies in their field of view and resolution specs. The VIVE Pro has an impressive 110° field of view, giving users a more immersive experience than its competitor at 95°. Its 1440 x 1600 resolution also offers superior visuals compared to YVR’s 1600 x 1600 pixels. In terms of hardware requirements for the VIVE Pro, it requires at least an Intel Core i5-4590 CPU and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 GPU, making it slightly more demanding in terms of specs than the YVR 2. However, this means that users who own PCs compatible with the Vive will be able to enjoy better visuals than those using standalone headsets such as YVR 2.

The advantages of using the VIVE Pro are clear; its large field of view, higher resolution display and room scale 360 tracking create a fully immersive virtual reality environment that other devices cannot match up to currently. However, due to its hardware requirements – which may limit some players – as well as its cost relative to other devices such as the Oculus Rift S or PlayStation VR (which are both less expensive) mean it's not ideal for everyone's budget or setup situation.

On the other hand, YVR 2 offers many advantages over traditional PC-based systems such as improved portability and ease-of-use thanks to being a standalone device which requires no extra hardware or cables whatsoever; simply turn it on and you're ready to go! Additionally, due to its lower specifications compared to VIVE Pro – such as lesser GPU requirements – makes this product much more affordable and accessible for people who can’t afford high end gaming PCs yet still want access high quality virtual reality entertainment experiences without breaking their bank account open either! Finally, if you're looking for something simple enough for your children (age 8+) then this could be just what you need since there are many games designed specifically with children in mind too!

Overall I prefer using HTC Vive Pro over any other VR device due mainly because I own a powerful enough PC capable of running all types games available on SteamVR platform perfectly fine even at highest settings possible while still maintaining smooth frame rates throughout my play sessions lasting hours long plus I like having larger FOV present here - something no other device can provide me right now unless if I decided purchase multiple displays then attached them together creating extended viewing angle simultaneously but that would cost way too much money therefore my current solution works great here instead! Moreover since buying Vive initially so few years back already owned tons great games ranging from action/adventure titles racing simulations puzzle etc available download via Steam store with many free demos give chance test out before deciding buy full version game itself plus also plenty 3D movies watch during down times allowing total escapism from every day life events happening around me directly home comfort zone feeling!.
