When you compare the Varjo VR-3 to the Varjo Aero you can see which VR Headset is better. Let's take a look of the comparison, and see which model of VR Headset out ontop.
The Varjo VR-3 and the Varjo Aero are two of the most popular virtual reality headsets available today. Both of these headsets offer a 115 degree field of view, a resolution of 2880x2720 px, room scale, and 360 tracking with a refresh rate of 90 Hz.
One major difference between the two is that the Varjo VR-3 requires an Intel Core i9-9900K or Intel Xeon W-2245 8 core processor at minimum while the Varjo Aero only requires an Intel Core i5-4590 processor or equivalent AMD Ryzen 5 1500X. This makes the VR-3 suitable for more demanding applications than its counterpart. In terms of graphics cards, both require NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060/3050/A2000 or NVIDIA Quadro RTX 4000 but as mentioned before, you will need a higher end GPU to run the VR-3. This gives it an edge in terms of graphical performance over the Aero.
In terms of operating system compatibility, both are compatible with Microsoft Windows so this shouldn't be an issue if you're running Windows on your machine.
Overall, I would give the edge to the Varjo VR-3 due to its higher spec requirements making it ideal for more intensive applications like gaming and design work whereas for general use such as browsing videos and photos then either should be fine - although obviously with better visuals coming from higher spec hardware powering either headset. Both headsets also have excellent comfort levels when wearing them due to their ergonomic design which helps reduce neck strain over longer periods of use.
In conclusion, my personal preference would be to go with the Varjo VR-3 if I was looking for something capable enough to handle heavier workloads due to its slightly higher specs compared to the Aero but if I was just looking for something that could get me by then either headset should do just fine - it's all about what suits your needs best!
