When it comes to virtual reality headsets, I have had the pleasure of using both the HTC VIVE Cosmos Elite and FIBRUM PRO. Both of these headsets are well-crafted, feature-packed pieces of technology that provide an immersive experience for users. That being said, there are some key differences between them that may make one more suited to a particular user's needs than another.
The first main difference between the two is their power source: the HTC VIVE requires a PC while FIBRUM PRO can be used with either Android or iOS devices. This means that if you're looking for a powerful headset with top of the line specs but don't have access to a PC then FIBRUM PRO might be your best bet; conversely if you do have access to a powerful computer then HTC VIVE might be better for you. The second major difference is in terms of resolution: HTC VIVE has much higher resolution at 1440 x 1700 pixels compared to FIBRUM PRO's 110° field of view – this makes it ideal for gaming as well as watching videos or films in VR.
In terms of comfort, both headsets fit very comfortably on my head and were quite lightweight (the FIBRUMPRO being slightly lighter). Both also feature 360 tracking which allows users to move freely within the virtual environment without worrying about losing sight or range from their targets – although I found that HTC VIVE tracked more precisely than FIBRUMPRO due its dedicated external tracking base station. Lastly, refresh rate was something that was noticeably different; HTC VIVECosmos Elite featured 90 Hz refresh rate compared to 60 Hz on FIBRUMPRO which made playing games feel much smoother and realistic on Elite model .
Overall, I would recommend either headset depending on what type of user you are; If you need power but don’t have access to a PC then go with Fibrum Pro while if you have access to one and want high resolutions and smooth gameplay then go with Vive Cosmos Elite - however both models will give good results overall! Personally I preferred using Vive Cosmos Elite as its higher resolution gave me an immersive experience when gaming or watching films, however both had comfortable fits and great tracking capabilities so they would both suit most types of users nicely!
