Microsoft HoloLens vs Sony PlayStation VR

When you compare the Microsoft HoloLens to the Sony PlayStation VR you can see which VR Headset is better. Let's take a look of the comparison, and see which model of VR Headset out ontop.

What VR Headset is better?

When it comes to virtual reality headsets, both the Microsoft HoloLens and Sony PlayStation VR offer high-end experiences. Both of these headsets feature room scale 360 tracking and a wide field of view, making them well suited for immersive gaming and entertainment.

The HoloLens offers a 35° field of view, as well as 1440 x 1440 px resolution which is excellent for crisp visuals. It also features an impressive refresh rate of 90 Hz that helps to create a smooth experience even in fast paced action games. Additionally, the headset runs on the reliable Microsoft Windows operating system. On the downside, however, its relatively small field of view can limit the feeling of immersion when compared to other headsets with wider views.

The PlayStation VR has an impressive 100° field of view giving gamers great visibility into their virtual worlds. It also has a 1920 x 1080 px resolution that ensures clear visuals while gaming or watching movies on this headset. The refresh rate is also excellent at 120 Hz creating virtually no motion blur during intense gameplay moments. However, one potential con is that this headset requires more hardware power than some other PC VR headsets due to its higher specs requirements in order to run smoothly and take advantage of all its features.

In my opinion both these headsets provide a great virtual reality experience with plenty of features for an enjoyable gaming session or movie night at home but I prefer the Sony PlayStation VR because it provides more immersion with its wider field of view combined with higher resolution and refresh rate specs which make gaming feel more realistic and intense than ever before!
