Oculus Go vs PlayStation VR2

When you compare the Oculus Go to the PlayStation VR2 you can see which VR Headset is better. Let's take a look of the comparison, and see which model of VR Headset out ontop.

What VR Headset is better?

A comparison of two virtual reality headsets, the Oculus Go and PlayStation VR2, is necessary to determine which device offers the best performance. Both headsets have their pros and cons and it's important to consider these before making a purchasing decision.

The Oculus Go headset has a field of view (FOV) of 101° while the PlayStation VR2 has a FOV of 110°. This means that with the Playstation VR2 you will have a greater range of view when playing virtual reality games or watching movies. Additionally, the refresh rate for the Oculus Go is 72 Hz while that for the Playstation VR2 is 120 Hz. The higher refresh rate ensures smoother visuals which can result in less motion sickness during long gaming sessions. The resolution on both devices are quite similar but on paper, the PlayStation VR2 is slightly better as it has 2000x2040 pixels compared to 2560×1440 on Oculus Go. This can result in sharper images than what you would get with the Go headset.

When it comes to minimum system requirements for running each headset, there are some differences between them as well. For instance, with regards to CPU requirements, The Oculus go needs Intel Core i3-6100 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200 processors while PSVR 2 requires an FX4350 processor or better if playing in 1080p mode; so if your PC isn’t powerful enough you won't be able to run either headset properly without some hiccups here and there.. In terms of GPU specifications, both require Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050Ti or Radeon RX 470 or better GPUs; however this may differ depending on which graphics card model your PC uses so make sure you check before buying either product!

One area where PlayStation VR2 excels over Oculus Go is room scale tracking – this allows players to physically move around within their play space rather than relying only on controllers for movement. This adds a whole new level of immersion when gaming but also comes at an extra cost - since you'll need additional equipment like cameras and sensors in order for it to work properly - whereas with Oculus Go this isn't necessary since its already built into the hardware itself!

The last thing we should look at before deciding which one we prefer more is price - The Oculus go costs $200 compared to $399 for Playstation VR 2 . Of course that doesn't necessarily mean cheaper always equates to worse quality – I found that although there were certain areas where one was slightly better than another (like refresh rate & resolution), they still provided me with an amazing experience overall regardless!

Overall my personal opinion after using both products side by side is that I believe either headset can provide users with great value depending on their specific needs/wants; however if I had personally chosen I would opt for Playstation VR 2 due mostly because its superior room scale tracking technology makes virtual reality even more immersive than what's currently available via other platforms!
