A thorough comparison of the two virtual reality headsets in question, Samsung Odyssey and Oculus Go, is needed to make a well-informed decision about which headset to choose. The minimum CPU required is also more powerful on Samsung Odyssey—an Intel Core i5 compared to Intel Core i3-6100 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200 on Oculus Go—which ensures smooth performance even when playing high-end games. Furthermore, both headsets have room scale capabilities as well as 360 tracking support for full body movements. Lastly, Samsung Odyssey supports a higher refresh rate at 90 Hz vs 72 Hz on the Oculus Go giving smoother transitions between frames during gaming sessions or video playback.

The pro for the Oculus Go is that it doesn’t require any external hardware like computers and it runs on Android operating system making it convenient to use anywhere anytime without having to lug around heavy hardware setup with you everywhere you go; however this convenience comes at a price since standalone VR headsets tend not to offer as many features compared to PCVR counterparts due its technical limitations such as power constraints etcetera. That being said they do offer an excellent value if all you need is basic entry level Virtual Reality experience without having spend too much money or having complex setup configurations unlike PCVR systems require and in that regard I think Oculus GO does deliver exactly what it sets out for—an affordable easy access entry level solution for people who don’t want anything too complicated but still want quality VR experience without breaking bank!

My personal opinion based upon my experiences using both these devices side by side is that given all things equal I would prefer using Samsung Odyssey over Oculus GO because I found its image clarity far superior than what was available from the latter (especially given same resolution) and plus additional feature set such as room scale tracking & higher refresh rates makes it more enjoyable overall if you are looking get most out your Virtual Reality Experience!
