The resolution of both headsets is also distinct - The Gear has 2560 x 1440 px resolution compared to 1080p in the VR Box which gives it better image quality. This can be seen as a pro for those wanting sharp visuals from their headset but again depends on personal preference and how important resolution is to you.

Another difference between these two products is that they have different operating systems; Gear works with Android while VR Box supports both Android and iOS devices, so if you own multiple platforms this could be considered an advantage or disadvantage depending on your preferences.

In terms of my personal opinion after testing these two headsets side-by-side, I would definitely say that I preferred using the Samsung Gear VR more than the VR Box. It had clearer visuals thanks to its higher resolution which made it feel more immersive overall despite having a narrower FOV than its competitor. Additionally, being able to use it with my android device was great since that's what I'm already most familiar with which makes setup much easier overall!
