The Samsung Gear VR and the Kopin Golden-i Infinity are both virtual reality headsets, with some very distinct differences. Here, I'll be comparing them based on their specs and my personal experience using both products.

In terms of field of view, the Samsung Gear VR has an impressive 101° whereas the Kopin Golden-i Infinity only offers a 21° FOV. This is definitely a pro for the Gear VR, as it offers more immersion for the user and provides them with a larger sense of presence within their virtual environment.

When it comes to resolution, The Samsung Gear VR boasts 2560 x 1440 px while the Kopin Golden-i Infinity only has 854 x 480 px which is quite low in comparison. This is a con for the Infinity, since higher resolutions allow users to enjoy a smoother image quality and less motion blur when they are moving around in their virtual environment.

The operating system also makes a big difference when you're looking at these two headsets. The Samsung Gear VR uses Android while the Kopin Golden-i Infinity runs Microsoft Windows which may be beneficial if you need access to certain software or applications that are only available on Windows OS devices. However, this also means that you may have difficulty finding compatible games or apps for this headset due to its limited app selection on Windows OS compared to Android's much broader library of apps and games available on Google Play Store.

For room scale tracking capabilities, both headsets offer 360 tracking so users can move freely in any direction without losing their place in their virtual environment. As far as refresh rate goes however, again there's quite a big difference between these two headsets: The Samsung Gear VR comes with 60 Hz while the Kopin Golden-I Infinity features 90 Hz - which will give users an even smoother experience in their virtual world thanks to faster processing times and higher frame rates!

Finally, regarding minimum CPU requirements; here too we find major differences: While The Samsung GearVR requires no special CPU specifications from your device, The Kopin Golden-I Infinty requires an Intel i7 or i8 processor – meaning it may not be suitable for those who don't own such powerful CPUs already installed into their computers/devices before purchase (which could make it harder for casual gamers/users).

In conclusion: Personally speaking, I think the superior field of view (FOV) combined with higher resolution screens make me lean towards recommending TheSamsungGearVR over TheKopinGolden-IInfinity – but depending on your needs/interests and your budget , either headset could work great depending on what kind of experience you're looking for!
